Luxury haulers are serious business these days. Ford provides up a group of 3 of such trucks in its Harley-Davidson unique, King Ranch, and Limited cuts. Ram has the Laramie Longhorn. And GMC, of course, does quite well for itself offering the high-zoot Denali editions of its Sierra. Now comes the first appearance of the 2014 Chevy Silverado High Country.
The new 2014 Chevy Silverado High Country will come conventional with the same 355-hp, 5.3-liter Gen V small-block V-8 available in scruffier 2014 Chevy Silverado. The uplevel 6.2-liter V-8 that we expect will be conventional in the new-gen Sierra Denali will be optionally available. Details on the 6.2 have not been made available yet, but we do know that it will share the 5.3’s cylinder-deactivation trick for increased performance.
Inside, the High Country's interior carries a European theme, implemented in an unique saddle-brown shade. Pierced leather furniture is fallen over the chairs (heated and chilled up front), 2014 Chevy Silverado High Country images enhance the top part headrests, an eight-inch touch-screen interface manages Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment installation, and audio is managed by Bose-branded gear. Outside, chrome is applied to the High Country's unique slatted grill, as well as its part moldings, entrance manages, part decorative mirrors, and 20-inch wheels. 2014 Chevy Silverado High Country
